BOTH DR. HOOKER AND DR. POMEROY POINTED OUT THAT THE U.S. PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN RESEARCH ON HOMOSEXUALITY AND SEX OFFENDERS AND HAS CONTRIBUTED FINANCIALLY TO THEIR RESEARCH PROJECTS.

Dr. Weiss declared that the best opinions in psychiatry today have not ruled out the constitutional factor with rolation to homosexuality. He added that at the present timo nothing can be done about this since not enough is known about the subject.
"The ridiculous statement made about a year ago by a Now York psychiatrist to the offoot that all homosexuals are sick and I can cure them would never be uttered in Europe," the doctor pointed out, adding that one of America's greatest difficulties is that it is always looking for a formula to oure a situation.
